Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) is subsidizing half of the funds for this project. If a 1 kilowatt solar power plant is installed, up to 100 units of electricity can be produced.
From 2 kilowatt unit to 200 units of electricity, if a 3 kilowatt unit is installed, it will produce 300 units of electricity.
How much subsidy do you get from BESCOM?
1 kW Bescom will provide Rs 30000 subsidy for setting up the unit. 2 kW 60000 rupees for installation of solar power plant and 3 kW. A total subsidy of 78000 rupees will be given to those setting up the unit. Consumers should take advantage of this.
This will save electricity bill. You can give extra electricity generated back to Bescom and earn extra money. This unit can be built on the roof of a house, commercial complex, residential complex. 1 kW A space of 10×10 square feet is required for the installation of the unit.
