Is the Grihalakshmi verification being done in the same way as the Grihalakshmi scheme?

Currently, the verification of the Grihalakshmi scheme is being done in the same way as the Grihalakshmi scheme. Eskom (electricity company) staff came to the house, filled the application form, obtained the necessary documents and updated it through the app. Similarly, regarding the Grihalakshmi scheme, local guarantee committee members or staff from various government departments will visit the houses of the beneficiaries in their jurisdiction and get information. If the home visit is missed in the next stage, it has been allowed to go to the local fair price shop, Gram One, Bangalore One center and submit the application.

More than 1.2 crore beneficiaries

DK Shivakumar continued, “It is a meaningful celebration for 3 years of the Grihalakshmi Yojana, which has given financial strength to the lives of housewives in the country. This ambitious scheme, which has embodied women’s empowerment in the true sense, has brought hope to the lives of more than 1.2 crore mothers in the last 3 years. So far, by transferring financial assistance of Rs. 76,500+ crore directly to the accounts of housewives, our government has supported the self-respecting lives of the girls of the country.”
