The Azim Premji Foundation has announced a massive scholarship scheme to encourage higher education for girls across the country. The registration process for this scholarship for the year 2026 has already begun and eligible girls can apply online.
This assistance will help girls from economically backward backgrounds to complete their degree education without any hurdle.
Eligibility Criteria:
Girl students who have completed 10th and 12th standard as a regular student in a government school or college of any state or union territory can apply for this scholarship. Girls who have taken admission in degree or diploma courses in any government or private college or university in India after 12th standard are eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
Key Documents Required:
At the time of application, candidates should have a color passport size photograph taken within the last 6 months (selfies or photos with filters are not allowed) and a soft copy of Aadhaar card clearly showing name and date of birth. Along with this, they should submit 10th and 12th class mark sheets, copy of first page of bank passbook and Bonafide Certificate or fee receipt confirming college admission.

Interested candidates should visit the official website of Azim Premji Foundation azimpremjifoundation.org and register through the ‘registration’ link available on the homepage. After the registration process is complete, the application form should be filled correctly and the necessary documents should be uploaded. Finally, the application should be submitted and the confirmation page should be downloaded.
Financial Assistance and Last Date:
The selected girl students will be given a scholarship of up to Rs. 30,000 annually. Interested and eligible girls can visit the official website and submit their applications by August 31.
