The ‘Sujnana Nidhi Scholarship’ program, implemented under the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project with the aim of ensuring that talented, economically backward children of the Meen region should not be deprived of professional and technical education without financial support, has become a beacon of good news for thousands of students.
Usually, most scholarships are given once a year. However, the ‘Sugnanidhi Scholarship’ of the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Scheme is a unique feature of the scheme, as it is given every month during the period of the students’ studies.
This ensures that the students get continuous financial support throughout their educational journey. This assistance has made the path of professional education very easy, especially for the children of members of self-help groups.
Who is eligible to apply?
- The father or mother of the students should be a member of any Self-Help Group (SHG) or Pragati Bandhu Self-Help Group operating under the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Scheme.
- Students who have completed PUC or graduation and have taken admission in professional courses and recent higher education can apply for this scheme.
- Priority will be given to talented students from economically backward and BPL families.
How to apply?
Direct Contact: Students can contact their nearest Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project Office or the Union Supervisor to obtain the official application form.
Online Registration: Applications can be submitted online by filling the required details through digital medium or with the help of official websites/mobile apps (Sujnananidhi App).
Submission of Documents: The filled application form should be submitted to the concerned scheme office along with the required documents by the due date.
