Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2026-27): A great opportunity has been made available for students who need financial assistance to continue their school education. Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0, an initiative of Cummins Private Limited (VCPL), is providing scholarships to deserving students studying in classes 9 to 12.
The main objective of this scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to children of commercial vehicle drivers, mechanics and students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) to continue their education.
This scholarship is available to students from the following states, including Karnataka:

- Assam

- Manipur

Who can apply for this scholarship?
Students belonging to the following categories can mainly apply for the Muskan scholarship:
- For children of commercial vehicle drivers
- For children of LMV/HMV drivers
- For children of mechanics
- For students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)
That is, students who belong to one of the above eligibility categories and meet the prescribed educational and family income criteria can apply.
Educational Qualification
The applicant must be currently studying from class 9 to class 12.
Also, the student must have secured at least 60% marks or more in the annual examination of the previous class.
Family Income Limit
The total annual income of the student’s family from all sources should not exceed ₹8 lakh.
Only students who meet the income criteria are eligible for this scholarship.
What is the scholarship amount?
The selected eligible students will be given a scholarship up to a maximum of ₹12,000 based on their actual educational expenses.
This assistance will help meet the necessary expenses related to the students’ education.
Who is not eligible to apply?
The children of the following are not eligible to apply for this scholarship:
- Children of Cummins Private Limited (VCPL) employees
- Children of Buddy4Study employees
