UPSC has released a notification for the Engineering Services Examination. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up 480 vacant posts.
The country’s highest civil service, UPSC, has released the notification for the Engineering Services Examination.
Through this, the examination will be conducted to fill 480 vacant posts in 4 main disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Communication). This is an examination for the vacant posts in Group A and Group B in various government departments and ministries. The application process for this has already started and the last date is October 6.
Educational Qualification
Complete BE, B.Tech from a recognized university as per the post/ Institute of Engineers (India) Institute Examinations Section A and B/ Aeronautical Society of India Associate Membership Examination Part 2, 3/Section A and B/ Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) Graduate Membership Examination/ M.Sc. (Wireless Communication Electronics, Radio Physics, Radio Engineering) candidates can apply.
Age Limit
Candidates between the age group of 21 to 30 years as on January 1, 2027 can apply. There is relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved category candidates as per the rules.
Application Fee
To appear for this exam, candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 200. However, there is no fee for SC, ST, women and Divyang.
