An important announcement has been released regarding the Central Government Scholarship. Eligible candidates can apply for this scholarship. Also, know here what are the eligibility criteria for this Central Government Scholarship and how to apply.
Applications are invited in electronic form for educational scholarships ranging from Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 25000/- for the financial year 2025-26 to the children of beedi, limestone and dolomite miners and film workers studying professional courses from class 1 onwards under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India for learning professional courses from class 1 onwards.
1) Students can submit filled-in applications only through One Time Registration (OTR) on the National Scholarship Website https://scholarships.gov.in.
2) Every student should have his/her own savings account with national electronic transaction facilities in a nationalized bank, on the technical system of the Central Banking System.
3) Applicants will be considered eligible for educational scholarships only if their Aadhaar number is linked to their savings bank account.
4) To avail educational financial assistance under this scheme, applicants should give their consent for electronic use of their Aadhaar number.
5) Participation of educational institutions is very important. Unregistered schools and colleges should first register on the National Scholarship Website https://scholarships.gov.in. Then, as per the guidelines mentioned on the above-mentioned website, all applications should be verified, approved and submitted from the registered address of their educational institutions. In case the educational institutions submit the electronic applications from their registered address without verifying and submitting them for further verification, those applications will not be processed further for the scholarship.
The last date for receiving applications for classes 1 to 10 is 31/08/2025 and the last date for receiving applications for all other higher education students is 31/10/2025.
