KEA KSET Application Deadline Extended
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has given an important information to the candidates dreaming of becoming assistant professors in the state’s universities and first-class degree colleges. The last date for applying for the KEA KSET exam has been extended. This has come as a big relief to lakhs of aspirants.
How is KEA KSET exam related to Assistant Professor posts?
The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has given important information to the candidates dreaming of becoming Assistant Professors in the state’s universities and first-class degree colleges. The KSET exam is directly related to the posts of Assistant Professor. KEA has facilitated the aspirants by extending the deadline for submission of online applications .
KEA will issue a notification in September for the recruitment of a total of 4,744 posts in various departments. Non-technical and technical candidates with graduation and PUC equivalent qualifications can apply for these posts . Also, KEA has received government approval to fill 4,699 posts and will soon announce the details of the department-wise posts. Candidates with degree, PUC and diploma qualifications are eligible for this recruitment . KEA has issued separate notifications for the filling of 4,723 posts, which include posts of Kalyana Karnataka Vrinda 8.
Recently, KEA has temporarily postponed the recruitment examination for the posts of Agriculture Officer and Assistant Agriculture Officer. This decision has been taken in the wake of protests by agriculture graduate students and objections raised regarding the eligibility criteria . KEA had also released a link on its website to download the admit card for these posts.
