3 lakh rupees subsidy for purchase of taxi, auto rickshaw, goods vehicle: Applications invited for `Swavalambi Sarathi’ scheme!

D.Devaraja Urs Backward Classes Development Corporation has invited online applications from interested persons belonging to backward classes in categories-1, 2A, 3A and 3B (excluding Vishwakarma, Uppara, Ambiga, Savita, Madiwala, nomadic and semi-nomadic communities, Vokkaliga, Lingayat, Kadugolla, Maratha and its sub-communities) for the year 2025-26 to avail facilities under D. Devaraja Urs Self-Employment Personal Loan Scheme, Gangakalyana Irrigation Scheme, Arivu Educational Loan Scheme, Loan Scheme for Higher Education Studies in Foreign Universities, Swavalambi Sarathi Scheme, Self-Employment Loan Scheme (in collaboration with commercial banks), Swatantra Amrita Mahotsava Munnade Scheme, Sewing Machine Distribution Scheme.

Applicants must have linked their mobile number to their Aadhaar number and seeded their Aadhaar number to their bank account. Only one person from a family is eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme. If they have availed the benefits of any scheme of the corporation once, such person and their family are not eligible to apply again for the benefit. Those who have applied in the years 2023-24 and 2024-25 do not need to apply again.

Interested parties are requested to apply along with the documents on the Seva Sindhu portal https://sevasindhu.karnataka.gov.in or at the Grama One/Bangalore One/Karnataka One Citizen Service Centers by June 30, the District Manager of the corporation has said in a notification.

Swavalambi Sarathi Yojana

Under this scheme, a person can start self-employment by purchasing a four-wheeler like a car or a good vehicle.

Eligibility for subsidy for the scheme

The applicant applying for this scheme should be unemployed and between the ages of at least 21 to 45 years.

The annual income of the family member should not be more than 1.5 lakhs,.

Driving license

No member of the family should be a government employee.

The applicant family members should be below the poverty line of India and should belong to the Scheduled Castes.

If a person has benefited from any scheme of the corporation once, such person and his/her family are not eligible to apply again for the facility.
