HDFC, a leading private bank of the country, offers scholarships every year to help poor students financially. Under HDFC Bank Parivartan ECSS scheme (HDFC Bank Parivartan’s Educational Crisis Support (ECSS)) this scholarship is given to economically backward students.
Under this scheme almost all students including students of class 1-12, technical education like diploma, ITI, graduate and post graduate can avail this scholarship. So how to apply for this scholarship, what are the qualifications? What are the rules? Here is the information etc.
Students applying for school scholarship should have these qualifications
1-12, Diploma, ITI, Polytechnic students can apply. Government and private students can apply.
Must have secured at least 55% marks in previous year.
Annual family income should not exceed 2.5 lakh rupees.
Students who have experienced a personal or family problem or crisis in the last three years and find it difficult to continue their education will be given first priority.
In case of applying for diploma scholarship, only those who have joined diploma after 12th class are allowed.
Scholarship Amount: Rs 15,000 for Class 1-6, Rs 18,000 for 7-12, Diploma, ITI, Polytechnic students. Scholarship is awarded.
Eligibility for graduate students
Students pursuing degree courses like BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, professional courses like BTech, MBBS, LLB, BRC, Nursing can apply.
Must have secured at least 55 marks in this previous course.
Annual income should not exceed 2.5 lakh rupees. Students who have experienced a personal or family problem or crisis in the last three years and find it difficult to continue their education will be given first priority.
Scholarship Amount: General Degree Course – Rs 30,000, Professional Degree Course – Rs 50,000.
Qualifications for Post Graduates
Students pursuing general courses like M.Com, MA, professional postgraduate courses like M.Tech, MBA can apply.
Must have secured at least 55 marks in this previous course.
Scholarship Amount: General Post Graduate Course: Rs 35 thousand, Professional Post Graduate Course: Rs 75 thousand
