Supreme Court (SCI) has started the application process for the post of Law Clerk-cum-Research (Law Clerk Recruitment 2025) Associate. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting the official website sci.gov.in.

The last date to apply for this post is February 7, 2025 and the exam will be held on March 9, 2025.

Scheme to Engage Law Clerk-cum-Research Associates on Short Term Contractual Assignment in the Supreme Court of India – Online applications invited under January 2024, has invited applications to prepare a panel of about 90 candidates for engagement on contractual assignment as Law Clerk-cum-Research Associates in the Supreme Court of India. Initially a consolidated remuneration of Rs 80,000 per month will be provided for the assignment period 2025-2026.

Educational qualification

Candidates should possess a degree in law (including an integrated law degree) from a recognized institution approved by the Bar Council of India. .

Age limit

Applicants should be between 20 to 32 years of age as on February 2, 2025. Also there is age relaxation as per rules. The selection process consists of three stages:

  1. Objective-type written test: Assessing legal knowledge and comprehension.
  2. Subjective Written Test: Assessing analytical and writing skills.
  3. Personal interview The written tests (Part I and II) will be conducted on a single day in 23 cities across India. 500 (plus applicable bank charges) at the time of application. The fee has to be paid online through UCO Bank payment gateway.
