The state government has given good news to the Brahmin women, the state government has said that 3 lakhs will be given to the Brahmin women who marry priests.

Under Arundhati Yojana, a poor Brahmin girl will get ₹25,000 as an incentive for marriage and under Maitreyi Yojana, a total of ₹3 lakh will be given as ₹1 lakh for young Brahmin women marrying priests and priests under Maitreyi Yojana.

Maitri Yojana has been implemented in the background of young women’s reluctance to marry priests and priests.

How to apply?

  • Karnataka invites online application for Arundhati Yojana / Maitri Yojana.
  • Registration forms are available on the official website of Karnataka State Brahmin Development Board (https://ksbdb.karnataka.gov.in/english).
  • To register for Maitri Yojana or Arundhati Yojana click on the “Sign in” tab in the header.
  • The couple can register online on the board’s website. Maitri Yojana and Arundhati Yojana application form can be filled only after registering on KSBDB website.
