Central government has implemented many schemes. From small children to senior citizens, many schemes are being implemented. These also include special schemes for women. Among these, it is noteworthy that a special scheme is available only for Garni.
This scheme is known as Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana. Millions of women have already benefited under this scheme
This benefit can be availed under Pradhan Mantri Matrutva Vandana Yojana. The scheme has been implemented for the health of women and children. A total of 11,000 financial assistance is provided in different installments during pregnancy and after delivery. Matrutva Vandana Yojana was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Budget 2017.
Financial assistance of 11 thousand rupees will be provided in three different installments and this money will be transferred directly to the women’s account. Apart from financial assistance under Matrutva Vandana Yojana, pregnant women are also provided with free drug pre- and post-pregnancy medical check-up facility.
So who gets financial aid?
- Must be an Indian citizen
- Available to female candidates above 19 years
- Only pregnant and lactating women can benefit under this scheme
- Anganwadi workers Anganwadi helpers Asha workers will also benefit under this scheme.
How to Apply?:
If you visit your nearest health center or anganwadi center and provide a medical certificate about pregnancy, your name can be registered and the money credited to the account.

- This scheme is not applicable for them
It should be noted that Matru Vandana Yojana is not applicable to some people. This scheme does not apply to the second concept. So no money comes. This scheme is not applicable to central and state government employees. That means women cannot join the scheme if they are working in government.
