Bengaluru City Civil Court Recruitment 2026: Applications are invited from eligible and interested candidates for the vacant posts of Stenographer Grade 3, Typist, Driver, Order Enforcement Officer and Soldier in the Bengaluru City Civil Court Unit. Post:
Stenographer Grade 3, Typist, Driver, Order Enforcement Officer, Soldier

Duty Location:
Candidates selected for the posts should perform duty in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Number of Vacancies:
Applications are invited for a total of 109 posts.

Educational Qualification:
Stenographers should have passed Grade 3
Secondary PUC examination or passed three years Diploma Commercial Practice examination or equivalent qualification.
Should have passed Senior Level Examination in Kannada and English Typing and Stenography conducted by the Department of Public Instruction or passed Diploma Commercial Practice examination or equivalent qualification.

Typewriters –
Should have passed Second PUC examination or passed three years Diploma Commercial Practice examination or equivalent qualification.
Should have passed Senior Level Examination in Kannada and English Typing or passed Diploma Commercial Practice examination or equivalent qualification.

Driver –
Must have passed SSLC examination and or equivalent qualification
Must have a heavy vehicle driving license.

Order Enforcement Officer –
Must have passed SSLC examination or equivalent qualification.
Preference will be given to those who have a vehicle driving license.
Soldier –
Must have passed SSLC examination or equivalent qualification.
Must be able to read and write Kannada

Age Limit:
The candidates should have the following age limit as on the last date of application.

Minimum 18 years
For General candidates – Maximum 40 years
For Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates – Maximum 43 years
For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category 1 candidates – Maximum 45 years

Selection Procedure:

  • Candidates for the posts of Stenographer and Typist will be selected through an interview based on the marks obtained in the qualifying educational examination and the percentage of the total marks obtained in the qualifying examination conducted by the authority.
  • For the posts of Drivers, the selection will be made through an interview based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
  • For the posts of Order Enforcement Officer and Soldier, the selection will be made through an interview based on the percentage of marks obtained in the SSLC examination.

  • Step 3: Fill in all the information mentioned in the application (such as candidate’s name, address, educational qualification, mobile number, etc.) and check it again before moving on to the next step.
  • Step 4: If any certificates/documents are asked to be uploaded in the application, scan them and upload them (only if necessary).
  • Step 5: Finally, if the candidate is asked to pay the application fee, pay the fee and complete the application submission.

General category candidates – Rs. 300
Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B candidates – Rs. 150
There is no fee for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Tribe, Candidates with Visible Disability.
Mode of payment of fee:
Candidates can pay the fee online through debit card, credit card, net banking.
