Under the Raitha Siri Yojana, grain growers will get an incentive of Rs. 10,000 per hectare (up to a maximum of 2 hectares). The scheme is designed to expand grain crops and increase farmers’ income, and the subsidy is provided through direct cash transfer.

In order to expand the cereal area of ​​the state, from 2019-20, farmers cultivating traditional cereals like Navane, Haraka Same, Korale, Baragu and Oodalu crops have been given incentives through Direct Cash Transfer (DBT) at the rate of Rs. 10000/- per hectare, limited to a maximum of two hectares, on the basis of crop survey.

With the aim of encouraging the processing of cereals, a subsidy of 50% on the total cost of machinery or up to a maximum of Rs. 10.00 lakhs has been provided for the processing, value addition, classification, packing and branding machinery of cereals.
