The final results of the Constable GD examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to fill various categories of jobs in the armed forces under the Ministry of Defence have been released. The details of the candidates selected on the basis of merit for a total of 53,690 posts have been made available on the official website.
To this end, SSC has made the final results of the Constable GD exam available on its official website. Candidates who have written this exam can register their details on the official website and download the results.
SSC has undertaken this recruitment process for the selection of about 53,690 Constable (GD) posts in a total of 8 departments including Central Armed Forces, SAF, Assam Rifles (BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, NCB, SSF). The notification was issued last year. The officials released the list of initially selected candidates after going through various stages on Thursday night.
The online written exams were conducted on respective dates from February 4 to 25, 2025. More than 24 lakh candidates from across the country appeared for these exams. The results of this exam were released on June 17 last year. Out of these, 3,94,121 people were shortlisted and selected for the second stage, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). These tests were conducted from August 20 to September 15.

Selection Journey: This massive recruitment process was conducted in several stages in a very transparent manner:
CBT Test: Around 24 lakh candidates appeared for the computer-based test held in February 2025. PET/PST: 3,94,121 candidates were selected for the physical fitness test based on the results released in June last year. Medical and Document Verification: After the physical tests, 95,575 shortlisted candidates were subjected to medical tests and the final list was published recently.
