The State Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official exam calendar for 2026-27 for the examinations conducted for recruitment to various Central Government jobs across the country. Exams to start from 2026!
According to the notification issued by SSC, the exams will start from May 2026 and will be held till March-April 2027. This calendar provides details of the exam name, stages, notification publication date, last date for submitting online applications and the month in which the exam will be conducted. This will enable candidates to immediately formulate a planned and step-by-step preparation strategy.
Important exams starting from May 2026
According to the SSC calendar, the Paper-1 (CBSE based) exams of JSA and LDC, SSA/UDC and ASO exams will be held in May 2026. The notification for these exams will be published on March 16, 2026, and April 7, 2026 is the last date for submitting applications. Similarly, the Tier-1 exams of the highly prestigious SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) and Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) exams will be held in May-June 2026. Notifications related to these are expected to be published in March 2026.
Exams from July 2026 to September 2026!
The SSC CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level) exam Tier-1 will be held from July to September 2026. This exam is a major opportunity for 12th pass candidates. During the same period, the Stenographer Grade-C and D, and Combined Hindi Translator Exams Paper-1 exams will be held in August-September 2026.
MTS, Delhi Police and GD Constable Exams!
The MTS (Multi Tasking Staff)* exams will be held from September to November 2026. This is a great opportunity for 10th pass candidates. The Delhi Police Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam will be held in October-November 2026. The much-awaited Constable GD exam will be held from January-March 2027, which has generated a lot of interest among the youth across the country.
