Application Procedure
- Offline Method:
· Visit the nearest Grama One, Bangalore One or Karnataka One centers.
- Online Method:
· Visit the website ahara.kar.nic.in.
· Submit a request in the ‘e-Services’ section.
Important instructions and tips
- Matching with Aadhaar: While applying, your name and address must be same as in Aadhaar card. If it is different, correct the Aadhaar details first.
- Server Problem: Online server of ration card correction can usually run slow from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid this time.
- Best time: Try to apply online after 4:00 pm or Saturday/Sunday. Offline processing can be done by visiting Gram One centers these days.
- Retention of Receipt: Keep a copy of the “Acknowledgment” (Payment Receipt) received after submission of application safe at all times. This will be an essential reference number to know the status of your application.
