The online application period for the recruitment of 708 vacant posts in 8 different government organizations including Bangalore Development Authority, Karnataka Soap and Detergent Factory, Rajiv Gandhi Health University has been extended till November 25.
The Authority has issued a notification on 15.11.2025 inviting applications for the vacant posts of Residual Source Cadre and Welfare Karnataka Cadre in the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
The Karnataka Examination Authority invited applications for the vacant posts of various cadres in various government departments/organizations/corporations of Karnataka, and notifications were issued for the posts of Residual Source Cadre and Welfare Karnataka Cadre on 08.10.2025 and 31.10.2025 and a separate notification was issued on 31.10.2025, allowing the date for submitting applications till 14.11.2025 and the date for payment of fees till 15.11.2025.
As the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board has issued a notification for various vacant posts in the cadres, the last date for submitting online applications for the remaining posts of the Basic Cadre and Welfare Karnataka Cadre of the departments/organizations for which the notification has already been issued has been fixed as follows.
1) Last date for submission of application online: 25.11.2025
2) Last date for payment of fee online: 26.11.2025

Competitive Examination;
a) OMR based examination, each question has 05 circles in OMR, the first 04 circles are related to shading one correct answer. If the candidate does not know the answer to any question/questions, he/she must shade the 05th circle. Otherwise, 4 marks will be deducted.
b) There is negative evaluation, one-fourth (7) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
c) The examination schedule will be published on the website of the authority,
d) A single examination will be conducted for the posts of different departments with the same syllabus and a merit list will be given to the concerned departments.
