The process of preparing the voters’ list for the elections to the Graduates’ Constituency of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Council has begun. The time to add names to the voters’ list in Form-18 has been extended till November 6.
As per the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the State Chief Electoral Officer has fixed a schedule for the preparation of voters’ lists for the elections to the South-East Graduates’ Constituency of the Karnataka Legislative Council.
Documents required for registration
Graduates who have completed any degree before November 1, 2022 are eligible to apply
Attached in the prescribed format along with a gazetted officer
1- Aadhaar card
2-Voter ID
3-SSL mark sheet
4-Copy of degree certificate
5-One passport size photograph should be attached with the application
6- Voters can apply only within their assembly constituency
Should be a regular resident of the constituency. 1st November 2025 is the eligible date and should have a degree or equivalent qualification from a university notified by the State Government at least 3 years before this.
Along with the educational qualification certificates, the applicant can submit an application in Form-18 along with the Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Passport, Driving License, Bank, Kisan or Post Office Current Account Passbook or other documents prescribed by the Election Commission, attested by the Gazetted Officers, to the Assistant Electoral Registrar of the area of residence or the specified officers, either in person or by post.
