Aadhar card is a very important document for every Indian. In a way, this Aadhar card is the master of all documents. If this card is correct, everything else is very simple and easy.
When we visit service centers to get documents like ration card, vehicle license, PAN card, bank account, etc., the first thing they ask us is ‘Where did you get your Aadhaar’. This 12-digit unique identification number implemented by the central government is very important. Now, UIDAI has implemented new rules for Aadhaar card renewal.
Do you need to make any changes in your existing Aadhaar card? If you want to change the name, home address or photo in the old Aadhaar (Aadhaar card renewal), it is better to keep in mind these new rules introduced by the Unique Identification Authority of India. UIDAI has recently released a new list of documents required for Aadhaar renewal for the year 2025-26.
UIDAI has clarified that if two or more Aadhaar numbers are generated in the name of an individual by mistake, only the Aadhaar number issued first will be valid. All other Aadhaar numbers except the first number will be cancelled.
