The state government has issued an important order regarding the allocation of offices for recruitment to the post of Second Class Assistant on compassionate grounds to the dependents of government employees who have died while in service.
In the Police Department, dependents of government employees who died while in service have applied for the post of Second Class Assistant on compassionate grounds, and their proposals have been reviewed.
The following candidates, who are eligible for appointment as per the notification and direction of the Government referred to under the Karnataka Civil Services (Recruitment on Compassionate Basis) Rules, 1996, have been allotted to the said Office/Units for appointment to the posts of Second Class Assistant Direct Recruitment available in the units mentioned in Column 04 of the form against their names.
The appointing authority/officers will issue appointment orders to the said candidates to the posts of Second Class Assistant Direct Recruitment available in their unit after verifying the following points.
1) The applicant should be eligible as per the recruitment rules of the concerned department and should have fulfilled all the necessary points.
2) The applicant should have educational qualification as per the recruitment rules and should be within the age limit.
3) The applicant should strictly follow all the conditions as per the Government notifications mentioned in the reference.
4) The appointment order shall be issued after obtaining confirmation from the concerned board or appropriate authorities regarding the authenticity of the educational documents of the applicant and if the concerned unit officers have already obtained a report from the competent authorities regarding the authenticity of the candidates’ educational documents and submitted the original copy, there is no need to obtain a report on the authenticity again.
5) The conduct and past history of the applicant shall also be checked before appointing them to the job. And if there is a difference in the name of the deceased employee as per the service book records and the applicant’s educational documents, it shall be confirmed.
6) Before issuing the appointment order for the candidates selected for the posts reserved for the candidates under Article 371J of the Constitution of India, the necessary documents shall be checked and confirmed and the order shall be issued.
The points and guidelines in the mentioned government notifications shall be mentioned in the appointment orders and implemented without fail. The original documents of the appointment, education and service book of the deceased shall be sent to the applicants along with the order for necessary action.
