- To apply for Lakhpati Didi Yojana, women must have certain documents.
- Keep the necessary documents like Aadhaar card, bank passbook, passport photo, SGH membership card, phone number, income certificate, PAN card etc. available.
- Women should be between 18 and 50 years of age.
- The annual income of the women’s family should be Rs. 3 lakhs or less.
- If a woman wants to apply under this scheme, no one in her family should be doing a government job. If so, she will be ineligible for this scheme.
How to apply?
- The central government has a target of providing loans to 3 crore women under this scheme. If women who are members of self-help groups want to start their own business, they should contact the office officials of the Women and Child Development Department in the district. They should take the Lakhpati Didi Scheme form and submit the necessary documents and a business plan. However, their application will be scrutinized by government officials. If they are eligible, they will be given interest-free loans. Various training programmes will be organized for them under the skill development programme.
