2nd PUC Exam 2 Result 2025: PUC Exam-2 Result Announced

The result of the 2nd PUC Exam-2 (2nd PUC Exam 2 Result 2025) has been declared today. The result has been released by School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa.

The number of those who passed both the exams has increased to 5.36 lakh. The overall result is 77.96 percent.

332 examination centers

From April 24 to May 8, the Second PUC Examination-2 was conducted in a total of 332 examination centers. 1,94,077 students had registered for this exam. 1,53,620 students appeared for the exam. But only 60,692 passed, which is 31.27 percent of the results, Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa said.

In the Second PU Examination-1, 1.70 lakh students failed in Exam-1. Out of these, 1.57 lakh students have registered for Exam-2. Since the government has allowed registration without exam fees, 92.4 percent of the students have appeared for Exam-2. Another 70,000 students had written the exam to increase their scores.

To facilitate the candidates who appeared for the CET exam for admission to various professional education courses, the Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board has announced the results of the Second PUC Exam-2 before the CET results.

When will the Second PU Exam-3 be held?

The Second PU Exam-3 will be held from 9 to 20 next month (June). The Department of Pre-University Education has informed that there will be no fee for those writing this exam.

Strict measures for PUC Exam-2 security

The Karnataka School Examination and Evaluation Board had taken adequate security measures to conduct the Second PUC Exam-2 successfully and without any untoward incidents. Armed police protection has been provided at the examination centers to prevent any irregularities. Police personnel were also deployed with the question paper distribution teams during the distribution of the question papers.

On the examination days, the attendance of students is being recorded through the online login portal. Through this, a digital system was adopted. Apart from this, CCTV cameras have been installed at each examination center. To view these scenes, special webcasting teams were formed and the examination was conducted in a strict manner by the Education Department.
