KPSC Exam schedule for 70 Motor Vehicle Inspector posts in RPC cadre announced

Karnataka Public Service Commission has now released the exam schedule for the recruitment of Motor Vehicle Inspector posts in the Transport Department. These exams will be held in the month of May. Those who have applied for the post should check the dates and make the necessary preparations. The admit card will be released a week before the exam.

Karnataka Public Service Commission has now released the examination schedule for the direct recruitment of 70 Group C posts of Motor Vehicle Inspector (Residual Cadre) in the Transport Department, which was notified on 14-03-2024. Those who have applied for these posts, please check the schedule below and prepare for the examination.

The Commission had issued a recruitment notification in March 2024 for the recruitment of 70 posts of Motor Vehicle Inspectors of the remaining basic cadre and 06 posts of Hyderabad Karnataka cadre. The examination dates for these posts have now been released. But now only the examination schedule has been announced for the posts of the remaining basic cadre. The examination schedule for the posts of Hyderabad Karnataka cadre will be released in the coming days.

The competitive examination conducted for these posts for which qualification below Diploma or Degree is required shall consist of two papers. Each paper shall consist of a written question of maximum 100 marks and shall be of objective multiple choice type. Each question in these two papers shall be of negative marking nature and for each wrong answer one-fourth of the marks allotted to the question shall be deducted. It is compulsory for the candidates to appear for the examinations of both the papers.

Details of Papers
Compulsory Kannada Language Paper: Out of 150 marks, it is mandatory to score 50 marks to qualify.

Competitive Examination Papers
Paper-1: General Knowledge
Will be conducted for 01-30 hours for maximum 100 marks.

Paper-2: Specific Paper
Will be conducted for 02-00 hours for maximum 100 marks.

General Kannada: For 35 marks.

General English: For 35 marks.

Computer Knowledge: For 30 marks.

The question papers of the competitive examination will be in Kannada and English only. The examinations will be conducted at any central location designated by the Commission and candidates will not be allowed to choose the examination centre.
