Karnataka Public Service Commission had issued a notification for the recruitment of Junior Engineers in Group C cadre in Urban Local Bodies (Naga Sabha / Municipality / Town Panchayat) of the Directorate of Municipal Administration in the year 2022 and invited applications. It had also conducted the recruitment process and already released the final list. But now, on the demand of the departments, an additional list has been released.
In connection with the recruitment of Junior Engineers (Civil) 74+15(H.E) posts in Urban Local Bodies (City/Meeting/Municipality/Town Panchayat) of the Directorate of Municipal Administration notified in the Commission’s notification dated 19-03-2022, an additional list has now been released for the said posts. Those who have applied for these posts and participated in the recruitment process, please check this list without fail.
The final selection list for the posts of Junior Engineers (Civil) in Urban Local Bodies was prepared under the Karnataka Civil Service (Direct Recruitment) (General) Rules 2021 and Amendment Rules 2022, as amended from time to time, and was published on 22-01-2024. As per the current rules, an additional list has been prepared for the said posts and released for the information of the candidates.

In this additional list for the posts of Junior Engineers (Civil) in Urban Local Bodies, the names of 63 candidates for the remaining basic cadre and 15 candidates for the Hyderabad Karnataka cadre have been announced.
Notes
As per the rules, 75% additional list has been prepared and published. The additional list has been prepared limited to the posts that have not reported for duty as per the demand / proposal (Form-7) submitted by the appointing authority. And the additional list has been released subject to the final judgment given in some cases by the Tribunal.
