You can now post song status on WhatsApp, the popular messaging app from Meta, just like on Instagram. WhatsApp has launched this new feature for its users. In this, you can post any song of your choice in your status.
Before this update, if you wanted to add a song to your status, you had to save the song and then edit it using a third-party editing app. But now the option to upload songs is provided within WhatsApp itself.
How to add a song to WhatsApp status?:
The process of adding a song to WhatsApp status is very easy. It works just like Instagram and Facebook. Meta has made it very easy for WhatsApp users.
- For this, open WhatsApp. Go to the status option.
- Then, click on the Add Status option. Now you can select your photo from the gallery to put in the status.
- Do this after selecting the photo. On the top left of the display, you will see a song icon. Click on this icon. Here in the search list, search for the song you want to put in the photo. Select the song.
- After selecting the song of your choice, you can select the part of the song you want. You can also select the ending part from the track.
- By clicking on “End”, the song will be added to the status. Now click on the send option given in the bottom corner. After this, the status will be uploaded.
- Not only photos but also videos can be posted on WhatsApp. In the new feature, a 15-second song can be easily put in a photo. On WhatsApp, you can upload a 60-second song to the status.
This way, you can add a song to your WhatsApp status photos and videos, just like you do on Instagram and Facebook statuses.
