The Central Government has decided to further strengthen the Pradhan Mantri Ujwala Yojana (PMUY) with the aim of providing cooking gas (LPG) connections to the poor households of the country. 10 million (1 crore) LPG connections with free refill and stove will be distributed this financial year.
How to avail the scheme
To avail Ujjwal Yojana, applicants must have these documents:
- Passport size photo
- Ration Card (for verification of BPL family)
- Aadhaar card of all family members
- Bank account number and IFSC code
After preparing all these documents you can visit your nearest Grama One center and apply.
