Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, the central government is depositing Rs 6,000 annually into the accounts of eligible farmers. This amount is being released in three installments of Rs 2,000 each. In this way, Rs.2,000 will be credited to the accounts of eligible farmers every 4 months.
As per the provisions of this scheme, only one member of the family can get its benefit. This means even if the agricultural land is in the name of both husband and wife. Only one person can benefit from the scheme. This means that only one person in the entire family will get the benefit of this scheme.

However, the government has said that EKYC is mandatory for farmers registered under PM Kisan Samman. Those who do not have this KYC attached can do OTP based e-KYC on the portal or contact nearby CSC centers for biometric based e-KYC.

Click on Status option. Then enter the registration number.
