Karnataka Skill Development Corporation has given good news to the job seekers that they should get jobs according to their qualifications and skills. The corporation has organized its first job fair for the year 2025 in Bangalore. A job fair will be held at Austin Town’s Nandan Football Ground in Shantinagar on January 7 and 8.

Big companies of Bangalore will participate in this job fair. In the fair, the initial level of information collection, based on the skills, knowledge and experience of the candidates will be offered later. Karnataka Skill Development Corporation has provided an opportunity for the interested to register. A job fair will be held on both the 7th and 8th of January 2025 from 9 am to 5 pm. The job fair was organized under the leadership of Shantinagar MLA NA Harris.

Established in 2008, Karnataka Skill Development Corporation, under the auspices of the Department of Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood, Government of Karnataka, provides short-term vocational training to more than 60,000 candidates annually under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKKY) and Chief Minister’s Skill Karnataka Yojana (CMKKY), the state’s flagship scheme for skill development.

Through over 800 accredited training centers across the state, Karnataka Skill Development Corporation provides skill training in various sectors including Automotive, IT-IT.ES, Logistics, Apparel and Electronics. It also designs and implements special schemes in the areas of skill development and entrepreneurship across the state. These programs are being emphasized and monitored through District Skill Development Offices in each district

Further training is provided as per the demand of the industries in the recognized Chief Minister’s Skill Karnataka Planning Centers. Candidates will be selected after evaluation after training. KSDCU is providing job opportunities to the candidates after training under this scheme.

To prepare the people of Karnataka to compete in the regional, national and international markets, KSDC has joined hands with industry, academia and other public institutions of the world to provide short-term vocational training and entrepreneurship development programs to bridge the skill gap in the state. giving

Who can register?: Job fairs are held based on their skills. Various graduates, diploma, ITI educated and other graduates can register in the job fair. Also, employers are also allowed to register.
