Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation requested the government to increase the passenger bus fares by 33% and Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation by 42% to improve the financial situation of North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation and Kalyan Karnataka Road Transport Corporation and to implement the joint projects. After discussion in the cabinet meeting, the green signal has been given to revise the ticket price by 15%.
