- Cannot consume more than 200 units of electricity per month.

Application Process for Karnataka Griha Jyoti Yojana
The procedure to be followed to apply for Karnataka Griha Jyoti Yojana is mentioned below:
- Step 1 : Visit Seva Sindhu Portal
- Step 2 : Click on ‘ Griha Jyoti Yojana ‘ icon.
- Step 3 : The application form will be displayed. Enter the relevant details in the application form.
- Step 4 : Check (tick) ‘Declaration’ and enter ‘Captcha Code’
- Step 5 : Now, enter your ‘Aadhaar Number’ and click on ‘Get Details’.
- Step 6 : Verify that all the details entered are correct and click on the ‘Generate OTP’ button
- Step 7 : Now, enter the OTP and click on ‘Submit’.
- Step 8 : The application number will be displayed. Note down the application number.
The details entered will be verified by the concerned authorities.

- Visit https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in/.
- Select the Beneficiary tab.
- Click on ‘Check Status’.
- Enter the application number.
- Click on ‘Check Status’.
- The application status is displayed.
