KPSC First Session Departmental Exam Result 2024 Declared

The Karnataka Public Service Commission has released the results of departmental examinations for the first session of the year 2024 conducted in the month of June for the information of the candidates. Candidates who have written this exam can check their paper wise result on the website of the commission.

KPSC has released the Departmental Exams Result 1st Session 2024 in a single PDF file on the website. In this, the register number of subject-wise passers, the register number of passers only in specific papers, the register number of those who have to appear and pass the exam in specific subjects within the next two years, the register number of those who have canceled and rejected the exam, has been released separately in the result sheet by KPSC. Candidates who appeared in the departmental examination of the first session of the year 2024 – will be allowed to recalculate marks only in relation to their descriptive examination paper. Those who wish to re-score a particular paper of their Descriptive Examination can do so by December 31 by paying a fee of Rs.100 per paper.

Who is Eligible to Take KPSC Departmental Exam?

  • Government employees.
  • Permanent employees of Government Owned Corporation / Board / Local Bodies / Universities / Authorities.
  • Group D employees are not allowed to apply for departmental examination.

Examination Centers
Departmental examinations are conducted in total 02 stages. In the first phase it will be conducted in all the district centers including Bangalore in the second phase only in Bangalore district center. However allotment of examination centers is at the discretion of the Commission.

Syllabus
Regarding departmental examinations, examination is being conducted for a total of 99 papers of objective multiple choice type and a total of 19 papers of descriptive type of various subjects.

KPSC conducts examination for departmental exams twice every year. And the examination process is carried out by issuing notification twice a year and accepting applications. Candidates who are eligible for this exam can increase their eligibility for further promotion process by applying and writing the exam.
