Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the application window for Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024. This initiative supports talented female students by helping them overcome financial barriers and continue their education.
Students can apply for a new scholarship or renew their 2023 application through the official CBSE website.
This scholarship will provide Rs 500 per month to help girls continue their education without any hindrance.
FRESH SCHOLARSHIP (EX-2024) : Students must have completed 10th with minimum 60% marks in 2024 and currently studying in 11th in a CBSE affiliated school.
Renewal Scholarship (Ex-2023): Applicants must have already received the 2023 scholarship and be currently enrolled in Class 11 or 12 in a CBSE affiliated school.
Tuition Fee Limits.!
- For class 10th, the fee should not exceed Rs.1,500 per month (with 10% annual increment allowed for classes 11th and 12th).
- Rs 6,000 per month for NRI students attending schools abroad.
- Applicants should be Indian citizens and only child of their parents.
Required documents.!
- Applicants have to upload
- Attested copy of their 11th class mark sheet.
- Aadhaar card is linked to their bank account.
- Bank details including account number, RTGS / NEFT / IFSC codes and branch address.
- Attested copy of bank pass book or canceled cheque.
How to Apply for Scholarship?
- Visit the official website of CBSE.
- Select ‘Single Girl Child Scholarship Ex-2024 REG’.
- Select ‘New Application’ or ‘Renewal’ as applicable.
- Complete form, upload documents and submit.
- Download and print the submitted form for future reference.
- Interested candidates should submit applications by December 23, 2024. Incomplete or unsigned applications will be rejected.
- Eligible candidates should check the requirements carefully and apply before the deadline to benefit from this important scholarship.
