SAAD Department Assistant Controller, Auditor Chief Exam Notification published

SAAD assistant controller and audit officer main exam dates: Karnataka Public Service Commission has released a notification for mains examination for filling up the posts of auditor and assistant controller of State Audit and Accounts Department. Mains exam will be conducted for those who qualify in 1:20 merit list after writing prelims exam.

Karnataka Public Service Commission has released the main exam notification for the recruitment of Assistant Controller Group A and Auditor Group B posts in the State Audit and Accounts Department. Candidates who have appeared in prelims exam for these posts now have to submit detailed application for mains exam. KPSC had published the SAAD Assistant Controller Main Exam Eligible List last September.

Candidates should read and understand all the details before filling the application and only then fill the details applicable to them.
Any request for amendment/addition of particulars in the application once submitted will be rejected.

As per the details already mentioned by the candidates in the preliminary examination application, the preliminary examination registration number, candidate’s name, signature, portrait, father/mother’s name, husband/wife’s name, candidate’s gender and date of birth, reservation and address details will be automatically recorded in the main examination application. Amendment of any information previously mentioned in the preliminary examination application will not be allowed.

Candidates have to upload Convocation Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate / Marks List / Result Sheet copy attested by the Registrar for completing the qualifying examination prescribed in the Main Examination Application only if they have selected Pursuing in the qualification column in the Preliminary Examination Application.

The documents already submitted online along with the preliminary examination application for the said posts and the attachment/documents submitted along with the application for the current main examination may be verified by the Commission in necessary cases. So candidates should carefully upload all the documents applicable to them in a clearly visible manner.

Merely filling and submitting the application online does not mean that the candidates have fulfilled all the conditions in the notification. Later the application and documents will be scrutinized. And if defects are found at any stage, the applications of such candidates will be rejected.

Application Procedure

  • Visit KPSC website https://kpsconline.karnataka.gov.in/HomePage/index.html.
  • On the open webpage candidates click on ‘Login’.
  • Enter the requested information and login.
  • Then give detailed information on the webpage that opens and submit the application.
    Examination Fee Information
    Rs.300 for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category-1, Ex-Servicemen, Disabled candidates.
    Rs.500 for all other category candidates.
    The exam fee can be paid through net banking, debit card, credit card, UPI channels.

Method of recruitment
Qualified candidates will be admitted to the main examination on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the preliminary examination in the ratio of 1:20 as per the number of vacancies notified in the preliminary examination notification for the above posts.

The shortlist will be prepared according to the merit of the marks secured by the eligible candidates in the main examination and the prevailing reservation rules.
