Karnataka SSLR New Notification: The Karnataka Public Service Commission has released the recruitment notification for the posts of GroupC Land Surveyors in the last month of February. Now the number of the said posts has been increased and it has been notified again and applications have been invited. Now the recruitment process for 190 HK and 560 RPC Group posts is intended to be held together.
The Commission has issued a revised notification for the recruitment of Group-C Group-C Group Land Survey Revenue and Land Records Department for the posts of “Surveyors” for the year 2023-24, for recruitment of additional posts in the said department. And considering the government order of 3 years age relaxation rule in September allowed to apply.
Earlier, KPSC Land Surveyors had issued a notification dated 29-02-2024 for the recruitment of 100 posts of remaining original group-264 and Hyderabad-Karnataka local group and invited applications. But the Department of Land Survey Revenue and Land Records has submitted a proposal for direct recruitment on 06-07-2024, additionally confirming 90 posts for the Hyderabad Karnataka Group and 296 posts for the remaining Basic Group as per the reservation rules currently in force. In this background, the application has now been allowed again with the revised notification. Now KPSC will conduct the recruitment process together for total 190 HK and 560 RPC cadre posts and the revised exam dates will be announced later.
Also, in view of the relaxation of 03 years in the upper age limit on 10-09-2024 for the posts of Group-C Group “Surveyors” “Generally qualified -38 years, Category 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B -41 years and Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Category- 1) are advised to apply following the upper age limit of -43 years.

Educational qualification for the post of Land Surveyor
- Must have passed BE(Civil) or B.Tech (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engineering from any University. Or
- Pre-Graduate Education (PUC) or 12th class conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE or ICSE) with science subject and not less than 60% marks in Mathematics. Or
- Pre-Diploma Pass of ‘Land and City Survey’ conducted by Vocational Education Department, Government of Karnataka. Or
- Must have passed in ‘ITI in Survey Trade’ conducted by Department of Employment and Training, Government of Karnataka.
Age Qualifications for the post of Land Surveyor
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Maximum 38 years for general qualified candidates.
- Maximum age for backward category candidates is 41 years.
- 43 years for SC, ST, Category-1 candidates.
Application Fee Details
Rs.600 for general merit candidates.
Rs.300 for Other Backward Classes candidates.
Ex-serviceman candidates Rs. 50.
There is fee exemption for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category-1 and Handicapped candidates.

- In the first step candidates fill their profile, educational qualification details and other details.
- Second step is to submit the application by providing other details asked by the department.
- At the third stage candidates have to pay the application fee.
Candidates who were previously unable to apply and pay fees due to technical reasons can also apply. The revised exam dates will be announced later.
