Recruitment is going on for vacant posts in several departments including the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Ministry of Defence, Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO), hence applications are invited for filling up Group A and Group B posts.
How many vacancies are there in which departments?
There are 25 vacancies for the post of Airworthiness Officer in DGCA, which operates under the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
There are 44 vacancies for the post of Deputy Controller of Explosives in Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organization (PESO).
There are 30 vacancies for Scientist-B (General Meteorology) in the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
Recruitment will be held for 7 posts in the Scientist-B (Atmospheric Science) section of the same department.
8 posts have been announced for the post of Manager in the Mail Motor Service of the Postal Department.
4 posts are vacant for the post of Deputy Superintending Archaeological Engineer in the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).
Further, according to this notification, the selected candidates are likely to be appointed in various parts of the country including Bengaluru, New Delhi, Pune, Nagpur, Kolkata, Kanpur.
What is the eligibility?
Candidates applying for technical and engineering posts should have a degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Aeronautical or related engineering from a recognized university. Experience is also mandatory for some posts.
For IMD Scientist-B posts, a Master’s degree in Atmospheric Science, Ocean Science, Hydrology or related subjects is required.
Age Limit Details:
The maximum age limit for most posts is 35 years for general category candidates. The age limit for OBC candidates is 38 years and for SC/ST candidates is 40 years. Age relaxation is available for candidates with disabilities as per the rules.
