The distribution of posts is as follows:
· Civil Engineering (Graduate/Diploma): 30 + 30 = 60
· Electrical Engineering (Graduate/Diploma): 20 + 20 = 40
· Electronics Engineering (Degree/Diploma): 10 + 10 = 20
· Mechanical Engineering (Graduate/Diploma): 20 + 20 = 40
· General Stream Graduates: 30
Educational qualification
· Engineering Graduate Apprentice: BE/B.Tech Graduate in Civil/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute.
· Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Should have completed Diploma in Civil/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
· General Stream Graduate Apprentice: Should be BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BMS/BJMC Graduate.
· Year of passing: Must pass in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025.
· Mandatory: Must be registered with NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) portal and possess a valid NATS ID.
Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)
· Minimum Age: 18 years (not born after 01.01.2008).
· Maximum Age: 25 years (not born before 01.01.2001).
· Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates.
Stipend (Dismissal)
· Graduate Apprentice: ₹ 9,000/- per month (₹ 4,500 Central Government + ₹ 4,500 KRCL)
· Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: ₹ 8,000/- per month (₹ 4,000 Central Government + ₹ 4,000 KRCL)
Application fee
· General (UR), OBC and EWS: ₹ 100/-
· SC/ST, Women, Minorities: No Fee
Selection process
· Merit Based: Selection is made on the basis of percentage of total marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Graduation/Diploma).
· Document Verification:Candidates named in the merit list will be called for document verification.
· Preference: First priority for Land Losers for Konkan Railway Project, then opportunity for local candidates from Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra.
· There is no test.
