The National Hydropower Corporation (NHPC) has released a notification for the recruitment of various posts including JE. The application process for these posts will start from September 2. Interested candidates can apply online till October 1 by visiting the official website of the corporation at nhpcindia.com.
Applications are invited for recruitment to a total of 248 posts.
The posts for which applications are invited include Assistant Official Language Officer posts 11, Junior Engineer (Civil) 109, Junior Engineer (Electrical) 46, Junior Engineer (Mechanical) 49, Junior Engineer 17, Supervisor 1, Senior Accountant 10 and Hindi Translator 5 posts.
What are the qualifications?
Candidates applying for Junior Engineer posts should have a diploma or degree in the relevant subject. For Senior Accountant post, applicants should have a CA or CMA degree. For information regarding eligibility for other posts, candidates can check the recruitment advertisement released.

How is the selection done?
The selection of applicants for these various posts will be done through written test etc. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode. The exam will be in Hindi and English language and will have a total of 200 marks. The duration of the exam will be two hours.
