The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) on Wednesday (April 8) released the ‘Balavatika’ admission results for the academic year 2026-27. The lottery results for Balavatika admission in Kendriya Vidyalayas have been officially announced.
Similarly, KVS will also release the results of students who applied for admission to classes 1, 2 and 3 tomorrow. The results can be checked on the official KVS portals.
According to the schedule released by KVS, the first phase of results related to the admission process for pre-primary classes in all Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country has been announced. The admission process related to this will also start soon. The provisional selection lists are available online and candidates can check their admission status through the following method.
How to check the results of Kendriya Vidyalayas Admission 2026?
- First of all, parents should open the KVS official website.
- Click on the ‘Admissions 2026-27’ tab on the homepage.
- Select the link ‘Balvatika Provisional Selection List 2026’ or ‘Lottery Result 2026’.
Select your state, KV zone and school name from the drop-down menu.
Then a PDF file of the result will open on the screen. You can use the search function (Ctrl+F) to find your child’s registration number in it.
KVS will release the first provisional list for classes 1, 2 and 3 on Thursday (April 9, 2026). However, KVS officials have said that the results for class 1 will be released on April 10 only in the states where voting is currently underway.
Parents whose child’s name does not appear in the first list need not despair. KVS will release the second and third selection lists to fill the seats left vacant after the verification of the first phase of certificates. The second list will be released on April 16 and the third list on April 21. Candidates will be selected on the basis of RTE, service preference (Defence/Central Government) and reservation quotas.
Parents of students whose names are in the Balavatika selection list will have to appear for verification with original certificates between April 15 and April 20, 2026. If they do not appear within the stipulated time, their allotted seat will be cancelled and given to the next student on the waiting list.
