Admission process for class 6 in state residential schools begins: Here is information for parents

The admission process for class 6 of various residential schools in the state has begun. Applications have been invited online on the Seva Sindhu portal for class 6 admission to Morarji Desai Residential Schools for Minorities, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Residential Schools, and Muslim Residential Schools for the academic year 2026-27.

  • 25% reservation for students from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes

  • 50% reservation for girls
  • Free and quality residential education for students.

  2. RD number of the student’s caste and income certificate

Eligibility Criteria for Candidates to Apply

  • Candidate should be studying/passed in 5th standard. Must have mark sheet at the time of verification of documents.
  • Must be a permanent resident of Karnataka State
  • Annual income should be 2.5 lakhs
