The Department of Industrial Training and Employment (DITE) invites applications for unemployment allowance from unemployed graduates/diplomas i.e. those who have not secured employment even after 180 days. Students who have obtained a degree/diputtemo in the academic year 2022-23 (i.e., those who have passed the examination in the year 2023) are eligible to register for the Yuvanidhi Scheme.
The government has issued guidelines in this regard.
a) Disqualifications:
1 Candidates employed in Government / Government Aided Institutions / Private Sectors,
.. Candidates who are self-employed,
III. ,2: This scheme is applicable only to Kannadigas who have not obtained employment for at least 6 months after passing their graduation / pre-graduation in 2023 and are students residing in Karnataka.
a) A resident student means one who has studied in Karnataka for at least 6 years up to graduation / diploma. 6 years of residence will be verified as follows:
1 SSLC Marksheet PUC Marksheet and Degree Certificate/Marksheets OR
- SSLC Marksheet PUC Marksheet and Diploma Certificate or Marksheet OR
- Common Entrance Test (CET) Registration Number and Degree Certificate OR
iv Date of issue of Ration Card and Degree Certificate
V. S.S.LC Marksheet issued by NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) will be considered for 200 Residence Verification.
b) Degree or Diploma Certificate
- The Degree/Diploma Certificate or Provisional Degree/Diploma Certificates of the candidates uploaded in the National Academic Depository (NAD) will be considered for verification of the status of the candidate holding the Degree/Diploma
- Universities and Boards shall ensure that the Degree/Diploma Certificates or Provisional Degree/Diploma Certificates of the students are uploaded in NAD within one week from the date of declaration of results
It is mandatory for the candidates to ensure that they have obtained their NAD Certificate by creating a DigiLocker account on DigiLocker before registering.
