Uttara Kannada District (Directorate of Women and Child Development Department) has invited applications to fill up a total of 229 Anganwadi vacancies.
A notification has been issued for the recruitment of 23 Anganwadi Workers and 204 Anganwadi Helpers. There are job opportunities in the taluks of Uttara Kannada district, namely Karwar, Ankola, Kumta, Honnavar, Bhatkal, Sirsi, Siddapur, Yellapur, Mundagoda, Haliyal, Dandeli and Joyda.

Educational Qualification
As per the official notification of the Women and Child Development Department, candidates applying for the posts of Anganwadi Worker should have passed 12th Class / Diploma ECCE / equivalent education from any recognized Boards or Universities.
To apply for the posts of Anganwadi Assistant, candidates should have completed SSLC as per the official notification of the Shivamogga Women and Child Development Department.
Age Limit
As per the Women and Child Development Department Shivamogga recruitment notification, the candidate should be minimum 19 years and maximum 35 years of age. There will be age relaxation of 3 years for Other Backward Classes, 5 years for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Category-1 candidates, and 10 years for Specially-abled candidates.
