Educational Qualification
According to the Sports Authority of India recruitment notification, officers who have worked or are currently working in the Central Government, State Government, Union Territories, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous or Statutory Bodies, Universities and Educational-Research Institutions can apply. Apart from this, Olympic or World Championship medalists, two-time Olympic Games participants, as well as athletes/coaches who have received the Dronacharya Award are eligible to apply. Candidates should have at least three years of coaching experience in the sport for which they are applying.
Age Limit
As per the notification of the Sports Authority of India, the recruitment will be for a period of one year and the period of the post will be extended based on performance and requirement. The maximum age of the candidates applying for this post should not exceed 65 years.
Salary
As per the notification of the Sports Authority of India, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200 in the Level-12 pay scale.

The applicants will be selected through an interview. The selection of candidates will be made as per the merit list prepared by the competent authority. The candidates who are successful in the interview will be called for document verification.
