The National Education Association of Tribal Students has announced vacancies for various posts including TGT and PGT in Eklavya Residential Schools. The application process has started from September 19. Interested candidates can apply through the official website emrs.tribal.gov.in till October 23.

Applications are invited for a total of 7,267 posts across various teaching and non-teaching posts. These posts include Principals, Postgraduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, Hostel Wardens (Male and Female), Women Staff Nurses, Accountants, Junior Secretarial Assistants (JSA) and Laboratory Assistants.

What is the Eklavya School Recruitment Qualification?
For the post of Principal, the applicant should have a Master’s degree and B.Ed. degree with 50% marks. For TGT posts, a graduation degree and CTET pass is mandatory. For Staff Nurse posts, a B.Sc. Nursing degree is required. For Lab Attendant posts, the applicant should have passed 10th standard and have a diploma in the relevant subject.
How is the selection done?
Applicants for these various posts will be selected through Tier 1, Tier 2 exams and interviews. Candidates who clear the Tier 1 exam will then appear for the Tier 2 exam, which carries 100 marks and lasts for two hours. Successful candidates will then appear for an interview, which carries a total of 40 marks. The exam schedule is not yet released. Admit cards will be issued to candidates who appear for the exam at the scheduled time.
