Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has announced the recruitment for the posts of Court Attendant and Security Attendant. According to the official notification, a total of 334 posts will be recruited. These include 295 Court Attendant posts, 22 Court Attendant (S), 1 Court Attendant (L), 13 Court Attendant (H) and 3 Security Attendant posts.
The application process will start from August 26 and will continue till September 24.
The minimum age of the candidate to apply for these posts should be 18 years and maximum 27 years. Age relaxation will also be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories. An additional relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC and ST categories, 3 years to OBC category and 10 years to Divyang candidates.
Regarding educational qualification, the candidate should have passed class 10 from any recognized board in India. Along with this, the necessary documents should also be in possession. The application fee for General, OBC and EWS candidates has been kept at Rs. 100. However, no fee will be charged for SC, ST, women and disabled candidates.
The selection process will be held in two stages, Tier-1 and Tier-2 exams. In Tier-1, a total of 100 questions related to Hindi, English, General Awareness and Arithmetic will be asked, which will be worth 100 marks. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. In Tier-2 exam, the candidate’s subject knowledge and skills will be thoroughly tested.
To apply, candidates have to go to the official website of DSSSB and click on the “Apply Online” link. First get the registration number and password by doing “New Registration”, then log in and fill the application form, upload the documents and pay the fee. After submitting the application, keep its printout safe with you.
