These farmers will get Rs 56,000 subsidy; Know how to apply

The government often implements good schemes to benefit farmers. Now, the Horticulture Department has given some great news to those who have newly planted coconut trees. If they complete this task, they can get a subsidy of Rs. 56,000.

So, here is the complete information about it.

Applications have been invited for subsidy from farmers who have newly planted coconut crops under the Coconut Development Board Scheme for the current year i.e. 2025.

This will be available to those who have planted in new areas.

Who is eligible for the subsidy?: If coconut is planted in new areas, Rs 28,000 will be given per hectare. A total subsidy of Rs 56,000 will be given per year. Only if the coconut crop is planted in a new area will it be considered for the subsidy. If it is planted on the edge of the banks, such people will not be taken into consideration.

Interested farmers can contact their taluk horticulture department office with a Xerox of Aadhaar card, a Xerox of a nationalized bank passbook, a purchase bill of saplings purchased from an authorized planter and an application, or contact the Assistant Horticulture Officer of the Farmers Contact Center near their village, said Deputy Director of Horticulture Raghavendra Prasad.
