If you are looking for a technical job in the defense sector, this is a great opportunity for you. Heavy Vehicle Factory (HVF), which comes under Sashastra Vahana Nigam Limited (AVNL), has issued a notification for the recruitment of more than 1800 Junior Technician posts.
This recruitment will be on a contract basis for 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance.

To apply for these posts, candidates must have passed 10th class and should have ITI certificate in the relevant trade. Also, at least two years of work experience is required. The maximum age limit is fixed at 35 years, but relaxation is given as per the rules for reserved categories. Relaxation is given by 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD.
Fees and Selection Process:
The application fee for general category candidates is Rs. 300, while SC/ST/EWS, women and ex-servicemen do not have to pay any fee. The selection process will be held in two stages. First, shortlisting will be done on the basis of marks obtained in ITI and then there will be a trade test. The final merit list will be based on ITI marks and trade test performance.
Salary and Benefits:
The selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 21,000 per month. Apart from this, they will also get IDA, special allowance and 3% increment every year.
