The State Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Junior Engineer Recruitment Notification for 2025. The application process has also started and interested candidates can apply for JE posts by visiting the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in, till July 21.
The application process has started from yesterday, June 30. Recruitment will be made for these posts under Group ‘B’.
Under this recruitment process, 1340 posts of Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical and Electrical) will be filled in various government departments. Candidates can apply online on or before the last date. Candidates should check the official recruitment advertisement issued by the Commission before applying. Only application forms filled as per the rules will be valid.
SSC JE Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for JE posts should have completed Diploma or Degree in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical from any recognized university. The age of the applicant should be between 18 years to 30 years. As per government rules, the upper age limit is relaxed for OBC, SC and ST category applicants.
How much is the application fee?
General and OBC category applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 100. SC, ST and Divyang candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. Candidates can pay the fee in online mode.

- Click on the Apply tab given on the homepage.
- Now click on the Junior Engineer Recruitment 2025 application link.
- Register and fill the application form.
- Upload the documents, pay the fee and submit.
How is the selection process?
SSC will select the applicants for JE recruitment through written examination and document verification. Only the candidates who clear the examination will be included in the further selection process. For more information, candidates can check the vacancy notification issued by the commission.
