Like every year, this year too, it has invited applications for free borewells. Yes, these works are done through various corporations including Ambedkar Development Corporation, Valmiki Development Corporation, Backward Classes Development Corporation.
Now, farmers have been invited to apply for free borewell drilling. This facility is provided under the Ganga Kalyana scheme. Eligible farmers can avail this benefit by submitting an application online.
Ganga Kalyana Scheme
This scheme has been implemented in various corporations. Small and very small landholders can apply for this and avail this benefit. It not only provides borewell drilling but also provides all kinds of electricity connections and irrigation to your land.
How much is the subsidy?
Eligible farmers will be given a subsidy of ₹1.5 lakh to ₹3.50 lakh. Also, a subsidy is given on the basis of caste. So, let’s know the information about who will apply.
- Applicants should be from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes
- The annual income should not be more than ₹1.5 lakh
- For those from urban areas, the annual income should not be more than ₹2 lakh
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have land holding.
- Must have land within 1.20 acres to 5 acres.
